Three-phase transformers represent capable static electrical machines to adjust the value of a three-phase alternating voltage, either by increasing or reducing it.
Our company, with over 60 years of experience in the sector of industrial automation in the province of Bologna, as well as throughout the entire territory national, has specialized in the production and sale of transformers three-phasefor uses industrial, plants and other applications.
The E.F.C. boasts vast experience in the electrical sector, particularly competence in calculation and in the design of high efficiency and powerful static machines such as i three-phase transformers.
Main technical characteristics of three-phase transformers:

Structure of three-phase transformers
Three-phase transformers are essentially composed of a closed E-shaped core made in ferromagnetic material and three coils, one for each column of the core. Parts verticals of the core, where the wires are wound, are called columns.
Two enamelled copper wires are wound on each coil, which can be connected into star or delta configuration, typically for voltages of 380V or 220V.
The winding connected to the power line is called the primary winding, while the one connected to the user is called secondary winding.
The three-phase transformers supplied by our company are configured with winding primary and secondary windings connected in star configuration, with the star center not accessible, unless otherwise requested by the customer.
Our transformers are designed to operate atthe standard frequency of 50 Hz, but they can work correctly even at 60 Hz.
To minimize eddy currents, the magnetic core is made with Thin laminations (with a typical thickness between 0.35 and 0.50 mm) in alloy iron and silicon. These laminations are covered with an insulating layer and are tightened and fixed together via locking brackets.
The construction of the lamellar core, narrow and fixed using sheet metal brackets, is designed to guarantee solid mechanical stability to the transformers and to reduce to minimize energy losses due to hysteresis and eddy currents.
Active collaboration with the customer
Our company excels in the art of synergistic collaboration with the customer, positioning ourselves as leaders in the construction of three-phase transformers.
Synergy with the customer represents a fundamental pillar of our approach working, as it encourages a mutual exchange of knowledge. This exchange enriches the know-how of both parties, allowing us to develop innovative solutions and on tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers.
